A little bit about myself!

I’m a Colorado-based photographer, a stay-at-home mom, and the face behind Rae Creations. I was born and raised in North Carolina, but life has brought my family and I to beautiful Colorado, where we are now creating new memories and starting this exciting chapter.

I met my husband in 2020, and a year and a half later, we welcomed our first beautiful baby girl, Braelynn Rae. Since then, our family has continued to grow, and we are now preparing to welcome our third little girl. Being a mom has completely changed the way I see life and memories. I’ve realized just how quickly time passes, and how important it is to capture the little moments that we sometimes don’t get to slow down and appreciate. My husband serves in the Army, and while he works hard for our family, I’ve been blessed to stay home with our girls and pursue my passion for photography.

Outside of photography and motherhood, my husband and I love spending time together playing video games (we even have our own gaming room with our own setups!).

Rae Creations was created from my love of capturing beautiful moments and preserving memories that last a lifetime. The name Rae holds a special meaning to me, it is derived from the Hebrew name Rahel, which is associated with beauty, and it is also my daughter Braelynn Rae’s middle name. To me, Rae represents the beauty found in every person, every story, and every season of life.

Photography has been a passion of mine for years, but becoming a mom made me fall in love with it even more. After realizing how quickly my own children are growing, I knew I wanted to help other families hold onto those special moments, too. Photos allow us to freeze a moment in time and revisit the feelings, love, and memories behind them. Recently, I decided to take my passion more seriously by investing in better equipment, continuing to grow my skills, and building Rae Creations into a business that can support my family while allowing me to do what I love. My goal is to create beautiful, authentic images that capture your story, the smiles, the laughter, the little details, and all of the moments you never want to forget.
